1. Hello,
   I am in the process of preparing my home for sale and I have quite a bit of HO scale trains and equipment in my garage. I’d prefer to donate these items if possible. I wanted to see if you accepted donations and if someone in the group could determine the approximate value of the items. Again, I want to donate, not sell, but if possible I’d like to take a deduction on my taxes as a charitable donation. Please contact me at your convenience. Thank you.

      Thank you very much of thinking of the Metrolina Model Railroaders Club when wanting to donate your train collection. Although I shared your posts with the club within a few days of your posting, I am just now getting to a point where I was able to do some maintenance on the website. Your inquiry brings up a matter that we need to address as a club and one of our IRS retirees provided an appropriate response to your request for a charitable donation receipt. 2. How can I contact someone about the train at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. I do volunteer work there and the train ride set up needs to be rebuilt. It was taken down and rails need to be d again and perhaps elevated some. We need your help doing this. and do not have any contacts numbers or emails. PLease let me hear from you soon
